Benjamin A. Small, PhD has been working in the financial services and fintech sectors since 2006 and is based in London. He previously held quantitative research and technology roles focusing on capital markets and trading at Citadel, UBS, Credit Suisse, and IEX. Ben was COO of the Gemini exchange and CTO of Genesis Global Trading. He holds multiple patents related to trading technologies. Ben obtained bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Columbia University.
