Bryan Bishop is a public speaker, published scholar, and software engineering contractor working on fintech, banking, crypto and biotech. Best known as a contributor to Bitcoin Core, Bryan recently created Webcash.org, a Proof-of-Work e-cash with no blockchain or blinding. He previously co-founded Custodia Bank (previously Avanti Bank & Trust) where from 2020-2022 he worked as CTO to help bring crypto into the banking sector. Before that, from 2014-2018 he was a Senior Software Engineer at LedgerX (now FTX US Derivatives), the first federally-regulated bitcoin options exchange, where he now is on the Board of Directors.
