He is a leader in discovering, incubating and investing in the next generation of the internet.
With a deep understanding in blockchain, DLT and crypto economics, Eden specializes in identifying web 3.0 opportunities, assessing the viability of business models involving decentralization and valuing crypto assets. Furthermore, Eden is a thought leader in the global blockchain community, having developed the world’s first innovation methodology for creating token economies and receiving Blockchain Research Institute's award for New Frontier in Enterprise Blockchain Research for leveraging blockchain technology to push boundaries of new business models. Eden also leads the Token Engineering Global communities in London and Toronto.
As a Partner at Outlier Ventures, Eden has built the firm’s crypto economics practice. The unit examines token economies and business models of cryptonetworks and blockchain companies for investment and provides advisory to seed stage projects on cryptoeconomic design and token engineering.
Prior to joining OV, Eden worked as a Chief Innovation Officer at Canadian Copyright Licensing Agency where he created a blockchain lab to experiment with innovative blockchain business models and use cases for creative industries. As Chief Executive Officer of Berlin-based corporate venturing agency, xyz futures, he helped develop and launch corporate ventures and startups by applying business model innovation to emerging technologies like AI, deep learning, IoT and more. He has also provided guidance on token issuances for blockchain consultancy group, DLT Labs.
Eden holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from University of Manitoba.
