Mark Bentley Richardson is the Product Architect of Bancor. Mark was previously a research scientist; he received his BSc (Hons) from Macquarie University, and his PhD from the University of Melbourne. He switched from a career in the physical and life sciences to DeFi in January of 2021. Mark leads the research and development efforts at Bancor, creating new concepts to better service the liquidity needs of cryptocurrency markets. He values decentralization, user safety, and operational simplicity, and imbues his product designs with these ideals.
