Philippe Bekhazi leads the XBTO Group. Mr. Bekhazi began investing in cryptocurrencies in 2011 and created XBTO in 2015. The XBTO companies are portfolio companies of the Derivee Capital group, which Mr. Bekhazi founded in 2009. Previously, Mr. Bekhazi created financial trading, portfolio management, and risk management solutions for leading companies around the world, including Calypso Technology and Citibank. Prior to that, he spent four years trading derivatives at SAC Capital Advisors, where he helped build the fund’s global macro desk. Mr. Bekhazi has a dual BS in Finance and Communications from Syracuse University where he graduated with Honors. He leads the management team as the interim CEO of Stablehouse.io.
