Roy Sheinfeld founded Breez in 2018 in order to transform Bitcoin and turn it into a functional currency. Using Lightning Network, Breez provides a platform for instantaneous Bitcoin payments. Previously to Breez, Roy co-founded and served as the CTO of harmon.ie, an enterprise software company with over 1000 customers around the globe. With astrong software engineering background, he was responsible for product strategy, management and implementation, building a development team and personally leading strategic business initiatives with Microsoft, IBM, Blackberry, Check Point, and others. Before joining harmon.ie, Roy worked as a team leader and developer at Sela Software Labs, building products and solutions in different software stacks such as .NET Framework, Java and Object-Oriented C++.
