Founder and CEO of Nima Capital, a family office which invests in all asset classes, across geographies, industries and stages. Focus on Blockchain vertical. Suna spends most of her time on Nima Capital's Blockchain vertical. She also founded the Suna Said Foundation, which works to support girls throughout the world through Blockchain technology applications. Prior to founding Nima, Suna was an Executive Director and Investment Officer of Unifund, Inc., a multi-billion dollar international investment firm. Suna is an active member of numerous charitable organizations and educational institutions, and was a speaker at the 2015 Milken Institute Global Conference. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Girls Inc., a national organization that inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold through direct service and advocacy, and was a 2015 Women of Achievement honoree for uniquely inspiring girls to set goals and achieve their full potential. Suna also serves on the board of directors of the Chopra Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving health and well-being, cultivating spiritual knowledge, expanding consciousness, and promoting world peace, as well as Pure Edge, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to bringing scholars success through focus and mindfulness. Suna was previously a board member of the Harlem Village Academies, where she was honored for creating the Mindfulness program for K-12. Suna is on the Board of Trustees for the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation, where she initiated the National Scholarship Program for Muslim Women, and has endowed the Maslin Scholarship Fund at Columbia Business School. Suna holds an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA from Columbia Business School. She lives in New York City with her husband and two children.
