Umee is focused on supporting the lending portion of the DeFi project and plans to make the DeFi base layer more flexible starting with rebuilding the debt Infrastructure, with new funding to fund the development team as well as the legal and compliance officer. In addition, Umee is preparing a DAO for the main network, working on community interactions, and will eventually shift the power of the network to a decentralized governance model.
