Members can deposit, lend and borrow a variety of different crypto-digital assets through the Celsius platform. Celsius Degree tokens are deposited into cryptocurrency holders' Celsius wallets as an interest reward. celsius charges institutional traders who use the pool of crypto-assets, and interest is generated from this fee. celsius uses a non-profit model, using A portion of the proceeds are used to cover all costs and community expansion expenses, while the majority of the proceeds are distributed to the member community. Once the tokens are issued, members who own CEL can pledge their cryptocurrency and apply for and receive a loan in the corresponding USD. Members receiving the loan will have the option to use the CEL to pay interest at a discounted rate. It is expected that CELs will be traded on the top cryptocurrency exchanges, so Celsius wallet holders will be able to transfer tokens in and out of their wallets freely.
